New iPad options for recycling old mobile phones in Ireland and the U.K

If you are keen to try out the Grace App but are wondering how you can possibly afford to buy a device that will suit your child, there are some new options for recycling old mobiles into new smart devices here in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Old mobiles contain precious metals, which are expensive to mine and thanks to the world economic downturn; are becoming more valuable every day.

Get the Grace App AND get an iPod Touch or iPad just by recycling old mobiles

For that reason Autism Ireland and  The Hearts and Minds Challenge have organised a scheme where you can collect and trade in old mobile phones of any condition (as long as it still looks like a phone) and turn them into great technology like an iPod Touch or iPad.

In the 32 counties of Ireland, go to www.autismirelandphones.ie

and if you are in mainland U.K. go to www.heartsandmindsphones.co.uk

Together they have come up with some excellent package deals to help you get your device, a good cover and a voucher to use for your favourite app:

Bronze Pack – 165 Phones
iPad2 16G wifi
RRP €479

Silver Pack- 175 Phones
iPad2 16G wifi+ Grace App iTunes Voucher
Total RRP Value €509

Gold IAA Pack -185 phones
iPad2 16G wifi
+ Grace App iTunes Voucher + iPad Protector Pack or Usability Pack
Total RRP Value €613

Platinum Pack – 200 phones
iPad2 16G wifi+ Grace App iTunes Voucher + 1 Year Autism Ireland Membership
iPad Protector Pack or IAA Usability Pack
Total RRP Value €630

While you are considering, note that the options of 85 phones for an iPod Touch, 100 for a netbook laptop, and the 300/500 for an Interactive Whiteboard for your school are still available.

If you don’t live in Ireland or Great Britain and want to get a similar scheme up and running in your country, please contact me and we can brainstorm some ideas to get you started.
